We first met Drake & Stella during the TOUCHED saga. Drake was an integral character in that series. Stella was the love he had lost long ago. In DARK TOURNAMENT, in Drake's new environment, he comes upon Stella once again, but the reunion doesn't go in the way he expected. Instead, his journey becomes a "rock 'em, sock 'em" of unanticipated encounters with a wide variety of individuals. As I discovered in her previous books, Elisa Amore is an artist in crafting real characters & a gripping plot. Her storyline is filled with action & unexpected twists. It's like the wildest carnival ride, & I didn't want the ride to end! Highly recommended.
Elisa S Amore writes one of the best books yet again. After reading the love story of Evan and Gemma, it was nice to hear the story of Stella and Drake. Sometimes, I can't even put it into words about how incredible her writing is. She captures the characters perfectly and you are drawn into their story and world, and you feel as if you are there yourself. The entire book was breathtakingly beautiful and amazing. I read it in only three days and I feel myself longing for more. After I finished this book, I needed to read more about the world of Drake and Stella. When I finished it, I just longed for more and for the story to never end. Once I put the book down, I was still part of the world of Drake and Stella for the next few days. I cannot wait till the next book comes out because Elisa S Amore writes another perfect book.IF you are interested in the love story of Drake and Stella, I suggest to read the Touched Saga first because everything will make more sense if you do. If you are looking for a page-turning book filled with love, laughter, adventure, flawless writing, and a book world that consumes you; read this book and become part of the love story of Drake and Stella. You will not regret reading this book and the Touched Saga.
Great book, her words put me right in the story. I love Drake and Stella's story so much that I want their prequel...this hint is for you Elisa!I can't wait for the trilogy to continue with Rouge Arena, because I know it's going to be amazing!
So happy to read Stella and Drake's story come to live. Elisa's story never fail to show that love conquerors all. We it be a battle of wits or hand to hand combat. If you want to bad enough and your love is stong enough you can even take on Hell itself. And this story has all of that and more. Excited to see what comes next.
I read the Touched series twice, loved them! This was the perfect way to continue the series! Each book gets better and better! Can't wait for Rogue Arena!!!
A brutal fight in the pits of hell devolves into a sexual encounter after the fight while the immortal looser is brought back to health. Where this evolves Drake to find his love Stella, I don't know. 11%. I'm done. Most everyone else thought it was great. I couldn't continue reading.
This story is a great combination of action,intensity,and humor!I really love this Drake character!Another homerun for ELISA!
