Can I be Ripley so I can have Boone? Actually, I’d love to be Ripley period regardless, but holy h*ll these two...I swear sparks of every kind were flying all over the place because of these two! The heart melting sweet and panty dissolving smexy were on point and with a good dose of sass added into the mix I couldn’t put this one down!I’ve loved Boone since meeting him in the Dirty Billionaire trilogy. He’s a big time country music star with a good old redneck heart who loves his mama and takes sh$t from no one. He’s got his feet firmly planted in both worlds, but makes his own rules. Ripley’s got all kinds of moxie. This woman is tough and can hold her own with the best of them. I loved her sass, but I loved her heart even more. And then there are those sparks...flames...whatever you want to call it whenever they were in the same vicinity. I swear it didn’t matter what they were doing, the chemistry between them was nuclear. Things weren’t smooth sailing for these two on any level, but I loved every second of it!As always, Ms. March’s writing is spot on. The various plot lines are all well thought out and paced throughout the book. And then there are the supporting cast of characters. Some I absolutely adored, like Zane and Esteban ~ I seriously LOVE Esteban ~ and some I want to gut with a spoon, but all of them are very well written and only add depth to the story. And then there is that ending...That ending has me wishing I had some sort of voodoo magic to make Real Sexy appear on my Kindle right now, but since that isn’t the case I will do my best to practice patience for the time being.~ Copy provided by the author and voluntarily reviewed ~

Apart from just wanting the car done up just the way he wanted it, this particular car was an integral part of Boone's grandiose plans for the perfect, public, on stage proposal to his long time girlfriend Amber.As reiterated in the opening chapter of Real Dirty, first book of the Real Dirty duet, those plans plans fall through in exceptionally anticlimactic circumstances ... she just doesn't turn up to be be proposed to.Frustrated and disappointed Boone accepts an invitation from friend and opening act Zane Frisco to drown his sorrows at an out of the way Nashville bar where the two are unlikely to be swamped by paparazzi or fans. A bar run by a certain Ripley Fischer, a woman with her own very personal reasons for avoiding the incessant advances from celebrities like Zane, or even Boone if he were interested.The theme of plans going awry isn't limited to the opening act though, as Boone steps into the spotlight as a major character, one who is both complicated and complex. First off, I don't think I've read any thing by Miss March I haven't loved. She has a way of writing about these characters that make one just fall in love with them. Too many times I've read books where one of characters has hardly any redeeming qualities. Authors tend to always write the female lead as weak or immature. One thing about these duet series she's been giving us...no weak females here!! Boone and Ripley are great together and I love the dialog. Can't wait for part 2 👏👏
