If you are taking a child development class this is the book you should use. The only down side was someone in the class had the 8th edition and the wording between both books was almost word for word. So unless you get a class that uses the 10th edition just save the money and buy the 8th edition. For the most part the book was great and really put everything out there, I just couldn't get past how much it was a copy of edition 8.

While looking for this specific version of the text, it was very difficult to find. Thankfully Amazon had it! None the less, it was also an ebook, which meant no paying and waiting for shipping, since my class had already started. I usually download these to the Kindle app and read on my computer. However, this book does not work on the Kindle app AT ALL! The pages show up blank, they don't load, or on the off chance they do, you can barely read the formatting. Now, I have to read it through the Amazon website and this too is flawed. Even though I click on table of contents, it takes me to chapter 1 each time. So basically I have to click through each page for chapters until I get to the one I need. I am very disappointed and this makes my studying extremely difficult. I have never had this problem before. This should not be offered on ebook version if it isn't formatted for it.

I thoroughly enjoy the book because of the many ideas that the book provides on how children develop. The book also offers parents and teachers ideas on how to provide better care for children. It also offers insight on children with disabilities. It's a book that every person dealing with children should read because of its in depth information on how to deal with children in all phases of life.

This book was required for a class and I got a good deal on Amazon as compared to my university bookstore. This book was used before I got it and served its purpose for my class. There are interesting concepts in this book that I may even look back on as needed for further studies.

This was one of my favorite textbooks. Very well written and laid out. Enjoyable to read, compared to other textbooks. I really learned a lot reading this textbook. It was an online class, so having a great textbook was imperative. A lot of photos, graphs, and examples were included.

Good price but the book is damaged. I know its used so there's writing and highlighting but theres also water damage that threw me off.

My daughter needed this for school and it was way less then what the school was charging

The book came on time and it was in the condition stated on the website. It is for school,and just what I needed for one of my early childhood classes. And also I love how it breaks the topics down. Very informative.Thank you very much I appreciate your service
